Weight Loss Secret

I’ve quit multiple times these past 7.5 months. It has been hard. I was physically drained, not only from having my son but also from gaining weight. I had no energy. I had no confidence. I had no drive or motivation. All I had was a want. 
I wanted to lose the weight I put on and have a fun time with my husband.2015-31-12--06-31-01
I resorted to excuses. I’m tired. I don’t know what to do with the baby. I can’t just leave him alone for 30 mins. I can only do a little bit because I’m too out of shape. I’m breastfeeding I can’t eat less. I’m just not in the mood. I’m a failure. 
I’m sure there’s more but you get the picture. I was constantly being negative and looking for someone or something to give me the jolt I needed to get moving. I kept looking and looking and trying and failing. Until the end of November. It dawned on me.
DUHHH!!! Youuuuuuuuuuu are NEVER going to change until you STOP making excuses. STOP listening to them and START doing shit to change.
It’s not meant to be easy. Gaining weight IS easy. Sitting on my ass IS easy. Being sad because I put myself in this situation IS easy. Giving up IS easy.
I had never taken the easy way out in anything, hell I always did things “harder” not smarter. I just loved the challenge, until now.
What changed??

NOTHING! I was the same person, with the same drive and ambition just with NEW things in my life.
Change is scary, very scary. But I did not let it scare me out of what I wanted most.
To be an EXAMPLE for my son. How could I expect him NOT to become overweight if all I did was TELL him how to eat healthy. If all I did was TELL him how exercise is so important.
It’s easy for us to sit and point and expect things to follow our fingers. But we all know it doesn’t work that way. And if you don’t know that, NEWSFLASH, it doesn’t. We don’t do what someone TELLS us, we do what someones SHOWS us. 
LEAD BY EXAMPLE. Show what you want to happen, and THAT is when it happens.
Regardless if you have children, if you WANT to lose weight and you know you need to workout everyday, eat healthy and just DO it but you just can’t figure out where to start……..
The answer is simple, START DOING! This is the biggest problem with ANY thing you want in life. STOP talking about it, STOP thinking about it, STOP wanting it and MAKE IT HAPPEN!
Talk is cheap for a reason. ACTIONS=Results.
I am proud to say since I pushed myself, got out of my way and made myself REMEMBER this, I’ve never felt more energized, powerful, uplifted, invigorated, empowered and down right AWESOME.
You’re not the only person feeling the way you feel, you’re not the only person thinking the way you think. YOU’RE JUST KEEPING YOURSELF ALONE!

No pill, diet or wrap will make you miraculously lose the weight you want. The disclaimer states something along the lines of “in the test group the participants also followed a well balanced diet and exercise routine.”
……… Swallow that, wrap it around your head and START WORKING OUT!
